Ultrasonic cleaners with bottom  bonded transducers are generally used for cleaning gold & diamond studded  jewellery  for maximum  output. The advantage of side  bonded  ultrasonic  cleaners is loose  studded  diamonds when exposed to vigorous ultrasonic cavitation disengages  and can be retrieve by means of diamond jail.
